Takumi Blackbox Crawling Now Explores More Thoroughly
Takumi blackbox assessments now crawl more pages within the credit limit you set, improving endpoint discovery coverage.
Overview
Previously, crawling would often stop early — even when the credit limit had barely been used — leaving potential pages and APIs undiscovered. With this update, Takumi makes better use of the credit limit you set to discover more pages and APIs.
Impact on Credit Consumption
Crawling will now consume more credits than before. For example, if you set a limit of 30 credits, previous versions typically consumed around 10 credits for crawling. After this update, crawling may consume closer to the limit you set.
The total credit consumption will never exceed the limit.
Recommended Action
Verify the credit limits configured for blackbox crawling. If limits were set based on previous consumption patterns, actual usage may now exceed expectations. Adjust as necessary. To improve crawl coverage, consider setting the credit limit slightly above the default — a higher limit allows Takumi to discover more pages and APIs.
