Multi-Factor Authentication Now Available for All Users

Multi-factor authentication is now available to all Shisho Cloud byGMO users.

Previously available to select organizations only, all users can now use this feature. Organization admins can also require multi-factor authentication to access organization resources.

Overview​

Shisho Cloud byGMO provides multi-factor authentication at login and organization-wide enforcement.

  • Individual setup: Enable multi-factor authentication on your account from User Settings. After setup, a one-time code from an authenticator app is required at each login.
  • Organization-wide enforcement: Organization admins can make multi-factor authentication mandatory. Users without multi-factor authentication configured will be unable to access the organization's resources.

Supported authenticator apps include Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, FreeOTP, and other TOTP-compatible apps.

This feature does not apply to SAML Single Sign-On users. Configure multi-factor authentication on your identity provider instead.
