Cancelling your Takumi Plan

You can cancel your base subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal.

Cancellation Process

To reserve a cancellation, follow the steps below.

  1. Navigate to the Settings screen.
    • Go to Settings > Takumi in the menu to find the link to the subscription management screen.
  2. Open the Customer Portal.
    • Click the Review Billing & Subscription button in the settings screen.
    • This opens the Stripe Customer Portal, which handles payment processing.
  3. Review your current plan and cancel it.
    • The Customer Portal shows your current subscription plan.
    • Click the Cancel Subscription button in the section for your plan.
      • Note: the exact wording may vary, as the Stripe portal display is updated from time to time.
  4. Confirm the cancellation reservation.
    • The reservation is complete when the Stripe portal shows the text "Cancel on (end date of billing period)".
    • Your Takumi plan will be cancelled after the last day of the current billing period.

Service Usage After Cancellation Reservation

Keep the following points in mind after reserving a cancellation.

  • You can continue to use Takumi until the end of the billing period, even after reserving cancellation.
  • Once cancellation takes effect, any remaining credit balance expires and Takumi becomes unavailable, even if you still have credits left.
  • To restart a cancelled plan, you will need to subscribe again.

Additional credits you pre-purchased also expire when the cancellation takes effect. Unused credits are not refunded. If you have purchased additional credits, either use them before the end of the billing period or schedule the cancellation carefully.

Usage-based fees incurred during the current billing period (Takumi Runner overage minutes, paid Guard tokens, and so on) are still summed and billed after the period ends, even after you reserve a cancellation. Reserving cancellation does not stop usage-based billing for the in-flight period.

Cancelling the Cancellation Reservation

Before the end of the billing period, you can revoke the cancellation reservation by selecting Renew Subscription in the Stripe portal.

Data Retention After Cancellation

Cancelling the subscription does not delete the Shisho Cloud organization itself. Assessment results, uploaded source code, and other data scoped to the organization are not deleted automatically as long as the organization exists — this is to prevent data loss from an unintended cancellation or billing interruption.
