Takumi Agent for Endpoint pricing information.
How Takumi Agent Is Billed
Takumi Agent for Endpoint is billed per device, per enabled feature. When you use Guard protection through Takumi Agent for Endpoint, you don't need separate Guard tokens.
Because no Guard tokens are needed, Guard token charges don't apply either.
Takumi Agent requires an active Takumi subscription, like Takumi Guard. Enabling Takumi Agent for Endpoint features has no fee of its own: charges follow the number of devices your organization manages and the features enabled on them. The base subscription has no free quota, so billing starts with the first device.
Unit Pricing
Takumi Agent currently bills for one feature, Guard protection. A feature added later becomes a separate item with its own price.
| Feature | Unit Price (JPY) | Free Quota |
|---|---|---|
| Guard protection | ¥1,000 / device / month | None |
What Guard Protection Includes
Devices with Guard protection enabled through Takumi Agent for Endpoint get the full Takumi Guard feature set (protection against malicious packages, package installation logs, and breach notifications). Your organization does not need to enable Guard or hold Guard org user tokens for these.
What Is Billed
A device is billable for a feature when it checked in at least once during the billing period with that billed feature on. Each billable device counts as one unit for that feature.
- Turning a feature off mid-period: a device seen even once with the feature on stays billable for that period.
- Decommissioning mid-period: a device decommissioned during the billing period still counts for that period.
- Uninstalling and installing again: running the installer again over an existing install keeps the device and its device ID. Uninstalling Takumi Agent and then installing it again within the same billing period registers a new device with a new device ID, so it counts as one more device for that period.
A device whose features are all off for the whole billing period is not billed, whether the feature was turned off for the organization, the enrollment key, or the device. It still appears in the device inventory with its health.
You can turn Guard off for the organization, an enrollment key, or a device by switching off all of its protected-ecosystem toggles. See Which ecosystems a device enforces for details.
