Catalog Coverage
The English user guide is currently in beta preview. Most of the documents have been automatically translated from the Japanese version. Should you find any inaccuracies, please reach out to Flatt Security.
Takumi Images does not package every piece of publicly available software as a container image. Whether software is added to the catalog is decided against several criteria.
Criteria
The criteria are:
- The source code is freely available in a public repository.
- The software is generally under a FOSS license (free and open source software license).
- The upstream project is actively maintained.
- There is no technical blocker that prevents building the software.
These conditions are not independent checkboxes. If any one of them is missing, it becomes difficult to decide to provide the software as an image. For example, even if the source is public, a project whose upstream maintenance has stopped has no foundation for ongoing patch tracking.
Current catalog
See the catalog for the concrete list. Because the catalog changes as images are added or reviewed, treat the catalog as the source of truth for current availability. Takumi Images prioritizes software that meets the criteria and gradually adds images.
Requesting additional images
If you want an image that is not yet in the catalog, contact Takumi byGMO support. Requested software is also evaluated against the criteria above.
