# Integrations {#integrations}

Some Takumi Pentesting features rely on connecting external services. Each integration is optional and only needs to be configured when you start using a feature that requires it.

- **[GitHub](/docs/t/assessment/features/integrations/github.md)**: Required when you want to target a connected GitHub repository in whitebox assessments, run periodic assessment, or use Autofix to open Pull Requests.
- **[Slack](/docs/t/assessment/features/integrations/slack.md)**: Required for the chat interface and for Slack-based notifications such as periodic assessment results.
