# Auto-Setup Skill for the cicd-sensor Integration Released

The **cicd-sensor integration skill** is now available. It lets an AI agent set up Takumi Runner's [cicd-sensor integration](/docs/t/runner/features/cicdsensor-integration) for you. With this skill, an AI agent can identify and carry out the work that is needed, such as **creating the Takumi organization, creating the bot for authentication, adding cicd-sensor, and connecting it to Takumi Runner**.

You can download the skill [here](https://shisho.dev/releases/takumi-runner-cicd-sensor-integration/0.1.0/SKILL.md).

:::warning
The cicd-sensor integration skill cannot change your plan. To move from the free tier to a paid plan, see [Pricing & Billing](/docs/t/runner/billing/).

## What the Skill Can Do {#what-it-can-do}

**Set up the cicd-sensor integration from scratch**

The agent opens a pull request that adds cicd-sensor to your CI/CD jobs, including everything needed to connect to Takumi Runner, and once the pull request is merged, the AI agent can also check that the integration works. If you do not have a Takumi organization yet, the AI agent creates one as well.

Even when the setup needs work beyond opening a pull request, such as when you use self-hosted runners, the AI agent carries out as much of it as it can.

:::info
During setup with this skill, the agent always confirms with you which CI/CD jobs to add cicd-sensor to. When work beyond opening a pull request is needed, it also always confirms with you before doing it.
:::

**Set up or change part of the cicd-sensor integration**

- Connect an existing cicd-sensor setup to Takumi Runner
- Update the remaining jobs when some jobs already have the cicd-sensor integration
- Upgrade cicd-sensor to a newer version

As in the examples above, the skill can handle work related to the cicd-sensor integration.

**Debug the cicd-sensor integration**

If the cicd-sensor integration does not work correctly, you can also use the skill to investigate the cause.

## Getting Started {#getting-started}

Download the [cicd-sensor integration skill](https://shisho.dev/releases/takumi-runner-cicd-sensor-integration/0.1.0/SKILL.md) and place it in a directory your AI agent loads skills from.

You can also install it with the following commands:

```bash
mkdir -p <skills_directory>/takumi-runner-cicd-sensor-integration
curl -fsSL -o <skills_directory>/takumi-runner-cicd-sensor-integration/SKILL.md https://shisho.dev/releases/takumi-runner-cicd-sensor-integration/0.1.0/SKILL.md
```

Once the skill is installed, ask your AI agent what you want done. It handles a range of requests, such as:

- "Add cicd-sensor to this repository's GitHub Actions and connect it to Takumi Runner."
- "I added cicd-sensor to the workflows of xxxxx/xxxxx, but the runs fail. Investigate why."
- "Upgrade the cicd-sensor version."

For the details of the setup, and the steps for doing it by hand, see the [user guide](/docs/t/runner/features/cicdsensor-integration).

## Getting Started with Takumi Runner {#getting-started-with-takumi-runner}

You can start using Takumi Runner with nothing but the AI agent skill in this article. The AI agent also guides you through the registration and settings Takumi needs, so give it a try.

On pricing, a setup from scratch puts you on the free tier, which needs no credit card. The free tier covers up to 3,000 minutes of total job run time per month. The AI agent cannot sign you up for a paid plan; to change your plan, see [Pricing & Billing](/docs/t/runner/billing/).
