# Takumi AI Penetration Tests Can Now Carry Over Assessment Results

You can now start an **AI penetration test** that carries over the results of a blackbox assessment, a graybox assessment, or a penetration test.

## Overview

When an assessment finds vulnerabilities, the individual findings alone do not tell you how far an attacker could actually get by combining them. Yet creating a new penetration test and entering the scope and credentials again takes effort.

With this release, you can start a penetration test straight from an assessment's results, without entering the scope or credentials again. Takumi proceeds from what the assessment found about the target system, so instead of re-examining what the assessment already covered, it can verify whether the detected vulnerabilities combine into a working attack and whether there are vulnerabilities the assessment did not find.

You can also start the next test from a penetration test's results in the same way. Because each test adds to what is known about the target system, you can keep verifying whether a bigger impact is reachable, or whether the same risk can be reached by another route.

The diagram below shows how results carry over from an assessment to penetration tests.

For example, you can use it before an important release to check not only individual vulnerabilities but also attacks that combine them. It also gives you evidence of how far a real attack gets when explaining the size of a risk within your organization.

## Getting Started

Open the report page of a blackbox assessment, a graybox assessment, or a penetration test, and start from the "Pentest" button shown in its menu. For the penetration test's objective, you can use the recommended one as is, or state your own. For details, see the user guide.
